Trumpet lessons on Instrumentor now!

Shortly before our 10th birthday, we open Trumpet Lessons with a top-class line-up. Joining us are familiar faces from the Swiss music scene.

Growing up in Rapperswil, she later studied jazz trumpet at the University of the Arts in Bern. Since then, she participates in various projects and bands such as Patent Ochsner or the Max Jendly Big Band.
You can look at topics such as improvisation, instrumental technique, ear training or breathing technique with Sonja. But also playing in wind sections is one of her specialties due to her experience. She accompanies you as a coach on your way with the instrument and she is ready to go with you in any musical direction.
Apart from trumpet, Sonja also plays and teaches alphorn, flugelhorn and piano.

Lukas Thöni
"I share the wealth of experience from 20 years of teaching and thousands of concerts on 4 continents on Instrumentor." Not much more to add to that: Lukas is certainly one of the most sought-after live and studio trumpet players with great teaching experience.
He teaches both advanced students*who want to specifically ride past a performance, as well as beginners*who want to get to know the instrument.

Felix is a young, up-and-coming trumpet player who is already firmly established in the Swiss music scene.
He studied at the Bern University of the Arts and is now involved in various projects ranging from jazz to pop and free music to soul.
From improvisation to learning composition and arranging, everything is possible with him. He additionally teaches flugelhorn.

Raphael studied at the Zurich University of the Arts and today is an integral part of the Swiss jazz scene. Stylistically rooted in hardbop, today he moves mainly in modern jazz and any forms of improvised music. However, he can also be found in horn sections of various pop bands.
With Raphael you will learn to improvise, find your own sound, a solid technique or how to build a solid over routine.
With advanced students* he also likes to work on topics like mental and physical preparation for concerts.

Felix is a versatile trumpet player, composer and producer.
He studied at the Zurich University of the Arts and attended various masterclasses.
He is passionate about teaching all levels from Jazz to Latin. But he is also passionate about electronic music. So he is also a producer and composer on the road and you can also learn from him how to produce music with software or record professionally.

Martial In-Albon
Martial studied jazz trumpet at the Lucerne Academy of Music. He is a long-time live and studio trumpet player and has performed nationally and internationally on stages large and small.
He also teaches flugelhorn, cornet and alphorn and can draw on a broad teaching repertoire due to his extensive teaching experience. He follows a holistic approach to teaching, where breathing, body awareness and self-observation are important components.
Martial also likes to accompany on the piano - so making music together is possible.

The versatile musician is in great demand as a sideman and studio musician on the road. He studied jazz trumpet at the Lucerne Academy of Music.
He says of himself that he is "a burnt child of a bad teaching amotphere." That is why he wants to take special care that the teaching climate is motivating. Thus, making music together in class enjoys a high priority with him.
In addition, you can also learn how to make your own recordings with software.
